In Norway, we have a specific word for people who are driven by deep inner passion and commitment. They are called “ildsjel”, or “fire souls”. They work hard and pour their energy, heart, soul and efforts into something they truly believe in, often for the benefit of others or a community.

In 2015, Authenticore won the IMEX-GMIC Green Awards, honoring our use of participation instead of consumption in local communities. Instead of traditional tourism, this winning program allowed participants to take part in hands-on sustainability efforts, such as cleaning nature paths together with local school children. This aligns closely with the Norwegian cultural tradition of “dugnad” (voluntary community work)
